Stander Undergraduate Fellowship Presentations
Visual identity system for The Lion King musical. Promotional collateral includes poster, t-shirts, social media assets, tickets, and musical program. Design system selected from a group of thirteen proposals for implementation.
Promotional Design
Promotional materials for the Brother Joseph W. Stander Symposium Undergraduate Fellowship Presentations, which encompassed nine presentations in total. The project challenge was to create a visual identity system that sufficiently represented all of the fellows’ studies, ranging from health science, to art, to sustainability and beyond.
The design solution focuses on the presentations’ comparable qualities of problem-solving, innovation and forward thinking. The design solutions took on multiple forms, such as posters, mirror clings, table tents and button cards, with strong influence from Guerilla Marketing to promote the presentations.

Pedal Wagon Dayton
Place Branding
Pedal Wagons are 15-person, pedal-powered vehicles are that have become prominent fixtures in Columbus, Cincinnati, Covington and Dayton over the past few years. Although the pedal wagons are the same, the Pedal Wagon experience completely differs depending on the city you choose. Pedal Wagon Dayton approached us to redesign one of their wagons to feel inherent to the city of Dayton.
Pedal Wagon promotes their rides not as transportation, but as an experience. They create a new way for people to engage with their hometown, or to be a tourist in a new city. Pedal Wagon Dayton specifically wanted to redesign one of their wagons to support their initiative of seeing Dayton from a new perspective. Dayton is affectionately called the"Gem City", so my team chose to highlight what exactly makes it a gem through fun facts, playful illustrations and hand lettering. Through our design, we want Daytonians to learn something new about their city, and visitors to understand why Dayton is so great. Our Pedal Wagon Dayton redesign focuses on the roof, bar top, back bench (front and back) and side panels—locations people on and off the Pedal Wagon can appreciate.
The team I worked with on this project includes: Emma Kaufman, Cassie Smith, Taylor Wilson and guidance from Professor Kathy Kargl. Our design was selected as the runner-up out of eight proposals.
